The Sheetz convenience store chain is discussing DC Fast Charging opportunities with Tesla, according to the Washington Post and Green Car Reports (See article). The concept is to make a paradigm shift toward spending more time at the convenience store eating and doing other things while the EV charges.
A partnership between Tesla and Sheetz could pave the way for other gas station and convenience store operators to cater to plug-in electric vehicles more aggressively.
