MIT News (article here) reports that an MIT four year study revealed some positive things about EVs and EV infrastructure.
“…MIT researchers were able to demonstrate that the daily energy requirements of some 90 percent of personal cars on the road in the U.S. could be met by today’s EVs…”
The research was based on 
simple “once daily” EV charging at home or at work.
