Energy.gov has a cool calculator that shows how much money can be saved per gallon when using electricity for fuel instead of gasoline. The calculator works by state. It’s not perfect since gasoline and electricity prices can vary widely in each state. But, it is an easy to use tool that makes a great point. Click here for the tool.
