One of our favorite sources for “Insights” is Charged. They published an article that discusses EVs from a car dealer perspective. The highlight is the following: “…The impact of infrastructure on EV sales is enormous, and it’s important to highlight that fact whenever possible.”. Park to Spark™ agrees that ubiquitous EV charging is required for ubiquitous adoption of EVs. Please contact us to learn more about how we can help you be part of the EV revolution.
Last December Ford Motor Co. stated a plan to spend $4.5 billion on an effort to add 13 hybrid or electric vehicles to its lineup by 2020. Some of that funding will go to a new “Model E” with up to 200 miles of all-electric drive. At Park to Spark, we see the all-electric vehicle as an appropriate option for most families only if EV Charging is everywhere. Please contact us to discuss how our strategies can help you play a role in making electric vehicle charging as ubiquitous as electricity itself.
At Park to Spark, we believe campuses make a great location for appropriate EV Charging Spots. Students and faculty/staff park cars for long periods of time-perfect for inexpensive “Level 1” charge spots. Future students and alumni will celebrate the offering of sustainable mobility .
